Tier 1: Treatment Placement Consultation

Rapid clinical evaluation and treatment strategy for families facing complex behavioral health situations.

Your Starting Point

When a loved one is struggling with addiction, mental health challenges, or escalating behavioral issues, families often feel overwhelmed by conflicting advice and unclear treatment options. The Strategic Recovery Assessment provides a structured starting point.’

Within 24–72 hours, our team conducts a comprehensive review of the situation, including family intake, clinical history, and current circumstances. We then develop a clear strategy for next steps — including recommended levels of care, appropriate treatment programs, and an admission plan tailored to the individual’s needs.

This service is designed to give families or loved ones clarity, direction, and confidence before making major treatment decisions.

At Recovery and Wellness Services, recovery isn’t just about breaking old cycles—it’s about creating new ones. This skateboarding photo symbolizes resilience, balance, and the freedom that comes with support from Dr. Steve Pulley.

What Our Tier 1 Recovery Plan Includes:

  • We begin with a structured conversation with the family to understand the current situation, history of substance use or mental health concerns, prior treatment experiences, and immediate risks. This allows us to quickly build a clear picture of what is happening and what level of care may be appropriate.

  • We review available information, including medical history, treatment records, and family observations, to better understand the clinical picture. By considering multiple perspectives and sources of information, we help identify the most likely diagnostic and treatment considerations.

  • Based on the assessment, we develop a curated list of treatment programs that align with the individual’s clinical needs, level of care, and logistical considerations. We focus on programs with strong clinical reputations and appropriate therapeutic approaches.

  • We help families determine the best path forward for admission, including timing, program selection, and preparation for entry into treatment. Our role is to guide the decision-making process and ensure the transition into care is as smooth as possible.

  • When treatment is selected, we assist in planning the logistics of admission, including travel coordination, program intake requirements, and communication with the treatment facility to ensure the arrival process is organized and clear.

  • After the assessment and placement plan are delivered, we schedule a follow-up conversation with the family to answer questions, review next steps, and ensure everyone feels confident moving forward with the recommended plan.

For most families or individuals, this assessment becomes the first step in the recovery process.
