Interventions & Transport
Smooth and supportive.
Sometimes, taking the first step toward support can feel overwhelming — not only for the individual, but for their loved ones as well. Our non-clinical travel coordination and accompaniment services are designed to help make this transition thoughtful, organized, and as smooth as possible. We assist with planning and communication so that movement into licensed third-party care happens safely, respectfully, and without unnecessary stress.
The Process
-
An intervention is a structured, family-led process designed to encourage an individual to consider appropriate support. Recovery & Wellness Services provides non-clinical intervention planning and facilitation to help families prepare for and conduct these conversations thoughtfully and safely.
Services may include:
Preparing and aligning family members prior to the intervention
Providing guidance on communication strategies
Identifying appropriate treatment or support options in advance
Coordinating logistics if the individual chooses to seek care
Supporting families through next steps following the intervention
Recovery & Wellness Services does not provide medical or psychiatric treatment as part of the intervention process. We do not receive referral fees, commissions, or financial incentives from treatment programs.
Our approach emphasizes preparation, clarity, and respect, with the goal of supporting informed decision-making and long-term stability.
-
In certain situations, individuals may require structured support when traveling to a licensed treatment provider or recovery setting. Recovery & Wellness Services offers non-clinical travel coordination and accompaniment services to assist families during these transitions.
Services may include:
Coordinating travel logistics to appropriately licensed third-party providers
Arranging professional, non-medical transport or accompaniment services when requested
Communicating with receiving providers to confirm arrival and admission timing
Supporting families throughout the transition process
Recovery & Wellness Services does not operate treatment facilities and does not provide medical transport services. When medical transport is required, arrangements are made with appropriately licensed third-party medical transport providers.
All travel coordination is arranged at the request of the client or family and is billed directly to the client. Recovery & Wellness Services does not receive referral fees, commissions, or financial incentives from treatment programs, transport providers, or related service vendors.
Compliance with Referral and Anti-Kickback Regulations
Recovery & Wellness Services complies with applicable federal and state laws governing referrals and financial relationships in healthcare, including the Eliminating Kickbacks in Recovery Act of 2018 (EKRA), the federal Anti-Kickback Statute, and applicable state regulations.
RWS does not:
Accept compensation in exchange for referrals to treatment providers
Provide compensation to individuals or entities in exchange for client referrals
Maintain financial ownership interests in treatment facilities to which clients are referred
All recommendations and coordination services are based solely on client needs, program qualifications, and logistical considerations.
-
Not all challenges are best addressed by a single provider or program. Recovery & Wellness Services provides non-clinical consulting to help individuals and families think strategically about available support options, particularly when prior treatment experiences have not resulted in sustained stability.
Services may include:
Assisting with discharge and continuing care planning
Reviewing available levels of care and support options
Coordinating communication among licensed providers and support services (e.g., therapy, psychiatry, coaching, sober living, education, employment)
Supporting families in establishing boundaries and realistic expectations
Providing objective guidance during complex or emotionally charged decisions
Assisting with transitions from structured environments to greater independence
Recovery & Wellness Services does not provide therapy, medical care, psychiatric services, or clinical diagnoses. We do not conduct clinical assessments. Recovery & Wellness Services does not receive referral fees, commissions, marketing payments, or financial incentives from treatment programs or providers. Recommendations are made independently and based solely on client needs and available program qualifications.
